- Producer determination. Whether your company is a producer under RCW 70A.208.020, and for which products.
- Exemption screening. Whether the de minimis test or another exemption applies to you, run against your own numbers.
- Covered materials screening. Which of your packaging and paper products the law reaches, and which are exempt materials.
- Data-gap list. What information you already have, and what you still need to collect before anyone asks for it.
- Action plan with dates. The steps that apply to your company, in order, against the statute's deadlines.
What this is not
- Not legal advice. It is a compliance advisory service. Where the statute is genuinely unclear, the assessment says so instead of guessing.
- Not a registration or filing service. It does not enroll you with a producer responsibility organization.
- Not a guarantee of how the Department of Ecology will read your facts. Where only Ecology can answer, the assessment tells you what to ask them.

You approve and pay
If it fits, the $295 covers the whole assessment. If it does not fit, I will tell you on the call and you pay nothing.

You get it in writing
The determination, the screening, the data gaps and the action plan, as a document you can hand to your team. Within five business days of the call.
What I need from you
Send what you have before the call. The more of this exists, the further the assessment goes.
Do not have all of it? That is normal, and it is not a reason to wait. Finding the gaps is part of what you are paying for.
- Company and brand names
- Products sold into Washington
- Packaging specifications and weights, if you have them
- Supplier names
- Annual gross revenue, and Washington sales
- How you distribute: direct, retail, e-commerce, or import
